About One Sound Man
Jaian Mascotto, widely known as JaianMusic for his anime music covers, is an audio engineer, technician, sound designer, and musical artist. As the creative force behind One Sound Man, Jaian specializes and offers services in post-production sound and audiovisual technician work.
Jaian’s formal education includes a Music Industry Arts College Diploma (Algonquin College, 2015). A Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electroacoustic Studies (Concordia University, 2019). And a Graduate Diploma in Film Music (UQAM, 2020).
His professional journey began with an immersive internship at Ère Production in France, where he honed his skills in a dynamic audiovisual environment. Since then, he has contributed his expertise in various high-profile roles, including serving as the recording engineer for the 2020 La Voix Chante album and assisting renowned artists such as Corneille during studio sessions.
Now based in Montreal, Jaian works as a location sound recordist, television sound technician, and video technician for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. In addition to his work with CBC, he maintains a thriving freelance career, collaborating with music studios and audiovisual companies across Montreal, Quebec, and beyond. Through his company, One Sound Man, he delivers professional audio solutions, creative services, and field recording sound effects libraries to clients worldwide.
